St. Paul's Reaches Out to the Community

St. Paul's reaches out to the community in a number of ways: Free "Soup-er" Tuesdays for all, fundraising "Teas and Sales" events organized by the Ladies' Guild, donations to the Community Cupboard, and other outreach programs. All are welcome to participate in these activities. If you'd like to be a part of something bigger than you, and be rewarded with heart-warming smiles, just  let us know.

"Soup-er" Night

Soup Night at St Paul's in Lancaster NH

Everyone is welcome at Soup Night

  • every Tuesday 5:00-6:30pm from November through March
  • free soup, homemade bread, and desserts - our gift to the community
  • an average of 70 people per week come for the meal and companionship
  • you don't have to be a member of the church (or any church)

Come for the nourishing, homemade food and stay for the warm conversation!

Ladies' Guild

Ladies' Guild

The Ladies’ Guild, also known as Episcopal Churchwomen (ECW) conduct fundraisers throughout the year so we can:

  • purchase items for the church
  • offer scholarships to high school seniors
  • support missions large and small, locally and worldwide

The Ladies are seen here at a recent Columbus Day sidewalk food sale.

The Ladies meet in the Parish House on the first Thursday of each month to enjoy fellowship, dessert and a business meeting. Reports are given about on-going projects and requests for donations are considered. New members are invited to join at any time.

Community Cupboard

Poster for Lancaster Food Pantry

Throughout the year, parishioners donate items for the Lancaster Community Cupboard for distribution to area citizens.

Each month features a specific need, like household items, personal hygiene, non-perishable food etc.

At the end of the month, Sunday School children take the filled basket up to the altar.

Other Outreach

St. Paul's is involved in the ChIPS outreach program.

ChIPS stands for Children of Incarcerated ParentS. Each year we collect Christmas present items for the children of inmates in New Hampshire prisons. These children are the innocent victims of crime and they carry pain in their young hearts.

Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me.”  Matthew (22:40)
